Understanding the Eight Prayer Watches: The Seventh Prayer Watch (12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.)

The seventh prayer watch begins at noon. Historically, Christ was on the cross, during this time, atoning for the sins of the world. God’s redemption and restoration for mankind was manifested through His Son. It was also during this time when Peter received the vision of the clean and unclean animals. This initiated the inclusion of the Gentiles in God’s redemptive plan. Also, it was during this watch that Daniel always went home to pray.

Midday is an hour of rest and a time to seek the Lord. Additionally, it is the time in which the promises of God are released, foundations are shaken, and to exercise our God-given dominion.

Time of the Secret Place of the Most High (Psalm 91:1)

During this prayer watch, it is very important to pray in line with Acts 10:9 and Psalm 91:5, 6, 14. This is the time to pray to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and make the Most High your habitation. Pray and cut off all satanic arrows that are released at this time so that they will not get you or your family.

Time of Letting Your Light Shine Brighter until the Full Light of Day is Attained (Prov. 4:18)

The midday is the beginning of the sixth hour (12:00 P.M.). Moreover, it is the time when the sun is at its fullest and brightest. Therefore, pray that your life will be bright. Furthermore, this is the time to pray not to be led into any temptation, trap or snare of the enemy.

They will catch me up in their hands so that I will not hit my foot on a rock.
