What is Prayer?

Prayer is a relationship with God, wherein we sincerely seek His face, worship Him, and communicate our desires to Him, knowing that God hears us. I John 5:14-15 tells us that if we ask anything according to God’s will, He hears us. God, Who is faithful and loving, answers prayers that are in agreement with His will and responds in ways that are in our best interest.

The Importance of Prayer

Never underestimate the power of prayer. When you are praying according to God’s will, your prayer becomes a weapon against the adversary. We cannot defend ourselves against the enemy in our own strength because we are too weak, but when we prevail in prayer, Satan is defeated and miracles happen.
