Prayer Decrees to Combat Depression

 

Heavenly Father…

  • You are a refuge for the oppressed and a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know Your name trust in You, because You have never forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9: 9-10)
  • My hope is in You, despite all my emotions. I believe and praise You, because You are my God and the One who saves me. (Psalms 43:5)
  • I give my burdens to You, and You will takes care of me. Moreover, You will not permit me to slip and fall. (Psalm 55:22)
  • You know the plans You have for me. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
  • When I go through deep waters and great trouble, You will be with me. Moreover, I will not drown when I go through rivers of difficulty! Likewise, when I walk through the fire of oppression, I will not be burned up—the flames will not consume me. (Isaiah 43:2)
  • You give me beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:3)
  • You heal the broken hearted and bandage up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
  • Whenever I cry to You, You hear me and deliver me from my troubles. (Psalm 34:17)
  • You comfort me when I am depressed so that I may be able to comfort others with the same comfort I received from You. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
  • When I am depressed and disturbed in my soul, I will put my hope in You and praise You because You are my Savior and my God. (Psalm 43:5).
